STYLING /ART DIRECTION

An editorial exploring the tension between body, garment, and interior.

01 SURFACE TENSION - Liminal states between body / object

Bodies fold, press, and lean. Surface Tension explores moments where movement hesitates and presence is measured, as bodies negotiate their position among furniture, walls, and architectural forms. Interiors do not remain passive. They anchor, resist, and shape every gesture.

Garments act as surfaces in dialogue with their surroundings. Fabrics bend, stretch, and drape into space, responding to weight, proximity, and tension. Clothing moves with the architecture, not as decoration, but as a structural presence alongside the body.

The project emerges from the space between body and environment, material and touch. Bodies do not perform. They inhabit. Form outweighs narrative. Proximity outweighs story.

Surface Tension invites a tactile way of looking, where fashion becomes one surface among many. Each frame holds a quiet tension, felt in the alignment of body, object, and space.
